When detective Denny DeGrace, a sometime actor with a fondness for coffee and Cognac, was approached by a delegation from the Chinese community to put a stop to the grave openings of their loved ones, he didn't bargain for the murder of a Chinese fruit vendor or death threats against a celebrated Chinese violinist touring Canada, or a wild, heart-stopping helicopter race at Niagara Falls as he finds his way through a maze of deception and lies.
